Haha... didn't mind being as pathetic as she is... at least she hit it off with a handsome lawyer... (i like colin firth)
Well, let's hope i won't start counting calorie and alcohol unit intakes.

The Day After Tomorrow

Continued from Friday.

So, set out to KLCC at 1.45. Darn... haven't been taking the LRT to KLCC for so long.... didn't know that it'll take half an hour to get there... so much for planning, huh.
Finally reached the place at 2. 20 (can you believe it?), not too late to book tickets for 3.00

Ran around finding the cinema... trusted the my instincts and ended up at the other end of the wing where the cinema is supposed to be.
Dennis gave me a call saying that he might not make it for the 3.00 show as he is still on the way back from MMU to SS2... to drop off his back. Said that would be better to book something later.
Mike gave me a call and said that she was in the line (isn't she an angel) and the line was super duper dee long and she might not get any tickets for the 3.oo show cos it was in green already (limited). At last, i found the damn place and started looking for mike... told her about dennis and both agreed to get the 4.15 tickets. Luckily, they opened an express counter (counter 8) for ppl who want to buy tickets for THe Day After Tomorrow (WEEEE!!!) lined up and got it... what the hell, the damn tickets costs 11 each!!! what's with them???
Alright, 1 hour plus to go before the show starts... what should we do? What can we do but to look like pathetic puppies cos everything there costs a bomb...
Ok, we shall do what all nerds should do... look at books in bookstores..

can't find anything interesting at TIMES so mike and I flocked to Kinokuniya... more books haha
we browsed thorugh here and there... and mike bought MEMOIRS OF A GEISHA and me, haha, BRIDGET JONES' DIARY.... with 12.5% discount each... buy one and get the next at 25% off.

Bought chocolate mint coated pretzel with medium sized lemonade (darn, they didn't have regular, crap)

It took forever for dennis to reach the cinema... it was already 4.20 when we spotted him... no we didn't... he was waiting at the popcprn counter while mike and I were happily chatting in front of Auntie Anne's... thanks to the HP... we finally found each other and off went into the theater...
The show was wonderful... better than expected... I was expecting something boring with ice everywhere. Overall, the effects were quite good.
THere were things that I find amusing about the show :-

(1) US seeked refuge in Mexico (???)
(2) The US president thanked the third world countries (particularly, Mexico) for helping them
(3) Malaysia was saved from the great catastrophe... wonderful
(4) US settled Latin American debts as a deal with Mexico.
(5) Gotta think some more

I just realised that I hop onto everybody's blog but never made the effort to update my blog.
HAHA... so for change, this was what i can recall for this week

MoNdAy...
Operation Mousehunt.
a mouse was found in the house

i was too scared... climbed up the sofa with my sis.
Dad asked me to bring in Peekaboo...
Peekaboo... sad case.. no use... cannot catch the mouse... too slow.. ( he should lose weight..haha)
Mom and Dad fetched the broom and Sheildtox.
GUess what, they sprayed Shieldtox on the mouse...
I can hear the mouse screaming... squeaking actually.

the mouse suffocated and died... haha...
mom cleaned the mess...

Physics Exam.

Went to college with su yi

The physics paper... so so lar, can't complain.
I actually dreamt that my physics lecturer, Mr.yong gave me back my paper and said... " Hao Yi, I'm So Sorry, You DIDN'T MAKE IT!!!" can you imagine how tensed i was?

IT Studies test.

Ok Ok lar... maybe i screwed up at the pseudocode and deskchecking part.
Never good in programming you see.
Essay question was from the pass years... still, i doubt my answers for that part can get me good marks...

Anyways, later gonna watch THE DAY AFTER TOMORROW with Mike and Dennis.
so pathetic right, everytime i ask ppl out, they have thousand and one reasons to push me away!!!

Hooray... Jo's back.
No more waiting for the bus in the morning =]

Aih... actually there's not much of a problem waiting for the bus in the morning, it's only the travelling part that is troublesome... Taman Paramount to KJ every morning.
The big problem actuallyy is waiting for the bus going home,

sometimes it takes a miliion and one years for the bus to come and it makes you wonder whether the bus is really gonna come.
LIke today, it took an hour's waiting before the darn bus to come and well, yeah there were so many ppl waiting for the same bus!
the rich bastarts... sorry but i'm very pissed double parked and made the bus stop really far away from the designated stop!!! It made all of us run there!

To top that up, the place was packed like sardines... everytime the bus stops we were thrown in front... inertia so to say.
Aih yaya....

Nuff bout that...
I went out with Ai Hsian on Sat to watch SECRET WINDOW. Sadly, it was just the two of us...
The show was great... it is a thriller. There's a twist at the end and it is so so good... caught everybody wondering why a mad guy can come up to an infamous writer and claims that he had plagiarised his work... hehe...oops... you guys should watch it yourself...
The killing part is the best lar... just so eerie... so guys, a screwdriver can do a million murders!!!

Went shopping for mothers' day gift later on.
I didn't buy anythign but Ai Hsian got Emma and a bookmark for her mom.
hehe, I made a card for my mom actually.
Ai Hsian bought me lunch... udon in the foodcourt and I bouight her McD's ice cream, with choco top...
hehe I know, I'm a cheapskate...

Today is Wesak Day, a day to commemorate Buddha receiving Enlightenment.
Well, well, i went to a temple near Taman Jaya. It's a Thai Temple.
As usual lots of ppl there and the funny thing is that i met my very very old friend there!

Too bad though as he can recognise me... haha... it's UNFAIR>>> I always remember ppl but they never remember me....
Well, we were friends in Primary 1 ok yeah... that was long ago.

I practiced my parking skills in the parking area in Taman Jaya.... haha... no poles... so it was horrible. I was kindda like parking diagonally when i'm supposed to park straight... lucky no cars around so can afford to make mistakes hehehe

I went to McD's for lunch in SS2. Harhar...met ccy there.

Told my parents that he got Asean Scholarship and they were like, "wah so smart!" "wah, so many ppl got asean scholarship in your class ar " =]

My dad went to buy a new handphone... his samsung kaput liao and he was using my sis's phone and she complains everyday.
The best deal was that he bought the new hp and exchanged his with mine!!!

yay! i have a new phone...it's motorola c350i squarish... colour screen, polyphonic ringtones etc etc.
the happiest day in my life!!!

Wow....
It's been so long since i've updated my blog...
haha, lazy .
what to do... life is monotonous for me..

one item to add to my list of resolutions ... have commitment to update my blog

ok.. let's see where i should start...

whole of last week was packed with common tests...
since it's over...i'm chilling now.

not much going on...
trying a new diet... high fibre low fat... haha...try to lose weight... vain ain't i?

work work work and more work is pouring in... thanks to my procrastination...
research study, mid term exams, physics folio...the list goes on
who said that college life is fun?
hm... i always get duped... first they said form 4 was a honeymoon year... totally not true... then they say work harder in form 5 then you'll enjoy college life... now they say work harder in college so that uni life will be easy... i guess when i'm in uni they'll say work harder in uni so that u'll have a good job prospect... then when i work... they'll say work harder so u'll enjoy retirement..........omigosh... is this what you call a vicious cycle???This will never end!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i've been hooked onto coffee eversince college started... ok, i'm a coffeeholic. however, i tried to break off the habit and i'm getting sleepier...zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.........and i don't know why, my head bangs too.

I'm so freaked out... there will be essay questions... *gulp!*
Remember the time when we had to write essays for spm?
crazy formats right?
must draw a lot of diagrams... try to make it as clear as possible and in the end not getting marks for anythign?
those were the days... and i hope that it is long over...

It's a fairly good day today
I had lunch with my classmates today at McDs....this is my second lunch out with my classmates... pathetic huh?
end up talking about what to give my friend's second anniversary gift to his girl friend.
Haha... another guy had the idea to get pencil leads into a pressure cooker to create diamonds...crazeee

Aih...life in taylors is sad lar... another IT lecturer has handed up her resignation letter... the second one..

First it was Mr.Lawrence... now Ms. Mary

She taught the class less than a month... is taylor's that eerie?

I don't know how but everybody started to talk about their girlfriends in class... haha...i'm in a class full with guys.
suddenly i felt lonely...very funny feeling.

I guess you guys must be laughing now.
Well, i'm envious...everybody's paired up and i'm left on the shelf... =[
it's not like i want some boyfriend or something because everybody's paired up... it just feels lonely when you see things like that.

crap... what am i doing... i shouldn;'t be writing this...
